Was it good? Did it follow the book well?

i have seen the movie, and i had really mixed feelings about it.
they really rushed the story alot. they skipped things that will e important in the second movie, and the acting was not the best i'd ever seen.
BUT SAPHIRA WAS AMAZING. it was almost spending a silly amount (everythng is expensive in Switzerland) just to see her. it totally followed the book in her description. it was incredible.
i think that you should see the move, not expecting it to be anywhere near as good as the book (but honestly, when is the movie ever as good as the book?) and just beleive me that they made alot of changes that wil affect the rest of the series!

I read the book before seeing the movie and I thought it was good. It lived up to the book pretty well. It skipped around, sped things up, and changed a few things but that's to be expected and it really didn't hurt the overall telling of the story.

yes I saw it. It didnt follow the book well. they tried to tell the whole first book and half of the second in 2 hours

I have seen it and it was really awesome......... it doesnt exactly follow the book, though!
it is bound to be different...... i mean it is different when you have to read it and picture it.......... and when you actually make it and see it, u know it is not usually the same!!!
but, i can tell you this, it definetly does justice to the book :)

IT WAS AWESOME!!!! It went exactly along the lines of the book. Eragon was cute :D:D:D:D

No but the reviews I read didn't like it. They felt it was a rip off of Star Wars.

yes i just watched it and it was fantastic im 29 and i have 4 kids aged 11,9,3 and 1 and we all watched it and enjoyed exept for my 1 year old who was asleep lol.if your thinking of going to see it i recomend you do you wont be dissapointed.

IT FOLLOWED TEH BOOK BUT WAS FAR TOO SHORT AND LEFT A LOT OF DETAIL OUT. STILL GOOD THOUGH.
