I have windows media center on my gateway computer, and i forgot the password to my admin account which was the only account on there, theres no guest account either, how do i log back into my computer w/o loosing the data?

I did the same darn thing to my computer. The password turned out to be "admin". Try it, it doesn't hurt. If it doesn't work, then you will have to call customer support for Gateway.

Try using http://www.killdisk.com/products.htm they have "partiton recovery", that can recover the data.
Pros: It works, from what I have heard. It has a trial version to see if it can see the password.
Cons: It is not cheap.
