The Bears are not going to reach the Superbowl. Rex Grossman is horrible. I'm sick of people referring to Rex's problem's as a "slump." A slump implies that he will get better and come out of it. Now that Rex has played in more than 10 games, teams know how to get to him (i.e., hit him early and often). He is a sitting duck in the pocket. Any team with a half decent pass rush will defeat the bears.

But the Bears are 13-3! They have home field advantage! Of those 13 wins, only 2 have come against teams with winning records. And I remember a certain Bears team losing to a certain Eagles team in the 2001-2002 playoffs at Soldier Field. Home field might help against a dome team, but for the most part isn't as much of an advantage as people make it out to be.

As for the usual saving grace of the Bears, the Defense -- this is the same defense that has given up almost 27 points per game the last four weeks of the season. If the goal was to build momentum to finish out the regular season, they have failed to do so.

That being said. I'll roll with Chargers and the Eagles.

NFC -- Saints*

*If the weather is like the 1982 AFC Championship game then it will be the Bears. However, teams going in with a QB controversey usually never win.

AFC -- Ravens

Ravens have the best defense and are only 1 of 2 teams that can shut down LT (the other being the NE Patriots).

Ravens vs. Eagles

The Bears have no QB and the Chargers are soft. The Eagles are peaking at the right time. The Ravens will win the Superbowl and Steve McNair will be the MVP

Score: 27-17 Ravens

The Bears have too many injuries on defense and their quaterback is a liability. I pick Eagles, they have the momentum now. The AFC should could come down between the Chargers and the Ravens, I picked the Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens will win the Super Bowl.

Gmen Rock & Kat4Use... sorry to say, Jets aren't getting passed the Wildcard, they don't beat the Pats twice and certainly not twice at Foxboro... especially since this time it's happening in January, uh uh.... NO SAH! lol

AFC Champs - Patriots

NFC Champs - God the NFC is difficult, ummm... Saints. :-)

Superbowl - While I really LOVE the Saints, I believe in and love the Pats even more... the "Best Sports Story of the Year" ends at the superbowl... 35-14 going to the Patriots.

i think of that the Bears would be confusing to overcome. The Seahawks are doing their usual seasonal magic trick and becoming to be marshmallows, the Saints are nevertheless "newbies" at this NFL "large group" element, the Cowboys will play by using the season with T.O. (nuff suggested), the Eagles are commencing an surprising run purely a interest or 2 too overdue so interior the tip with all NFC video games in Chicago at minus 17 and snowing, the Bears gets it carried out. Indy is slowly sliding down the totem pole, New England (with Belichick) is the only 8-8 group able to sitting at 10-4. this might win the Div. yet as quickly as they meet a actual AFC group they are going to easily be salmon swimming interior the shark pool. Cincy, Jags, Denver, Jets might have of challenge at making the playoffs, yet interior the tip purely extra salmon...... This convention is the joint sources of the sunshine Blue 'Bolts and the super gruesome crimson Crows. The convention very final will settle on which one is going to Miami in February. that is going to additionally settle on who stands out as the SB Champions. I %. Brian Bellick over Marty Schottenheimer - RAVENS 31 - BEARS - sixteen.

Bears, NFC.

Although I'm a Bears fan, Chargers will win the Superbowl, IMO.

The way the Bears played this past Sunday, they will figure out how to lose next weekend, and they aren't even playing!

It's too bad they can't get a QB.
