They have a history of passing up on good players. Like: Leinart and Cutler last year. I hoping the Quinn doesn't become a Raider, I've heard rumors that the Raiders might go with RB Adrian Peterson IF he declares for the draft, another player that was mentioned was Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas because the Raiders gave up league worst 72 sacks this season.

I don't think the Raiders can afford to pass on Brady Quinn. Their offense was almost dead last in every offensive statistic and one of the big reasons for that was not having a true quarterback. I don't know why people think Aaron Brooks is a good player but all he does is dropback and if someone isn't open he starts scrambling. He gets sacked way too much and especially with Randy Moss. That's right for all of you who forgot or didn't know Randy Moss is on the Raiders. He was the league's best receiver just a few years ago and now you don't even hear his name mentioned because there is no one to throw him the ball. If Brady Quinn was added to this team he would be able to stay in the pocket longer than Brooks and get Moss the ball. Their defense was pretty solid this year and i could see them becoming a decent team next year if they improve their offense by drafting Brady Quinn.

Take a long, hard look at Quinn. Brady Quinn, he just doesn't have the mobility, arm strength, or consistency of an NFL quarterback. In most games he played horrendous for one half, and great in the other. That won't cut it in the NFL. When he did do brilliant, it was against the likes of a bunch of terrible teams. The best I see him doing is being a third string quarterback. In reality, he should be a Fourth round pick at best.

Actually, the Oakland Raiders will more than likely pick up Troy Smith out of OSU instead of Brady Quinn. Troy Smith has more big game experience and has won against ranked opponents. Furthermore, Smith locked up the Heisman with an almost unanimous vote in his favor. He is the projected #1 Overall 2007 Draft Pick. Quinn will more than likely drop to the middle-late first round. There are a couple other QBs which will have more consideration than Quinn, even with his Notre Dame career numbers.

Joe Thomas is a beast & would be a smart pick to protect whatever QB they may start (even if its Walter), but I think they may still be reeling from Gallery's slow development, in addition to them passing up on the QB's in last years draft, so I think under the pressure (and their need for a QB), they will take Quinn.

I hope they pass on Quinn just so I can stop hearing about him. He isn't likely to be the best player from the draft, and yet people are acting like he is much more then a pretty boy.

It's January first.... let's get through the Wild Card Playoffs won't we? There's still the Senior Game, Combines, scouting and more. Anyone expect Mario Williams to be the first pick last January? Heck 3 days before the draft? Slow down.

I reserve my opinion for a couple months.

Brady Quinn is useless, Raiders will save money if they pass him up.

Raiders need a QB, offensive line to protect QB and maybe some new offensive coaching
