See...here's the thing...George Lucas is going to get a punch in the face FROM ME because he bolloxed up something that writes itself...

Its SOOOO EASY...just to have had Anakin say a la "Superman"

"All my powers and I couldn't save her!"

Listen to me...Padme dies in his arms for whatever reason...
Anakin holds her dead body in front of Obi-wan...looks at her...
says "she was the love of my life...and she's dead...because ..."

and then drops her and looks at Obi-Wan "YOU WOULDN'T LET ME SAVE HER!'

Then he advances on Obiwan, lightsabre drawn...

"What's the point of being a Jedi when Happiness and Love are denied you!...Everything i am was for HER!...AAHHHH!!"

Then they fight...is that so hard to write?

PHUCK George Lucas ... he's a hack who got lucky...

TELL ME I'M WRONG

Cosmic_quest feels my pain...
The point is...why is it that a bunch of hammerheads from YAHOO can write a better script for the most anticipated sequel of ALL - TIME????!!!

Because George wasn't interested in continuity or anything intelligent...he just wanted our MONEY

Terrible doesn't even begin to cover the drivel that is the prequels. All three prequels are marred by poor character depiction, sloppy plot lines and dire acting. I know people really wanted to like 'Return of the Sith' because it was the last ever in the Star Wars films but I felt like crying when I saw it since nothing made sense.

Anakin stropped around like a pathetic teenager whose Mummy said he couldn't watch TV on a school night. Padme was weak and soft, very hard to believe this was a child queen who stood her own ground against people much older than herself. Obi-Wan was barely seen. The only decent characters were Yoda, Mace and Palpatine.

I hated how Anakin easily slid into the Dark Side because he was told that was how to save Padme. Yes, that makes so much sense; kill all the Jedi, even the wee kids, and Padme will be safe. What next- blow up the universe so you can be crowned king? As for the Jedi, if they couldn't see what a risk this spoilt, self-absorbed brat was then they deserved to die.

George Lucas should hang his head in shame for what he did to this brilliant series. In the space of a few years, he ruined everything that Star Wars was. They should have got someone who actually had a clue to write the scripts if the prequels had to be made.

I'll say that episode 3 was my favorite of the new three. Why? Because episodes 1 and 2 were horrible so episode 3 was better compared to 2 horrible movies. You got to go with the lesser of 2 evils (in this case 3 evils).

I gave up on the prequels after Star Wars 1 & 2. Maybe when 3 comes on TV for free I'll watch it. But I was damned if I was going to pay $10 to see #3, when 1 and 2 sucked so badly.

i've got been prepared on megastar Wars for somewhat a whilst. i does not flow as far as to declare that Episode III replaced into the appropriate of the flicks, yet i presumed it replaced into the appropriate of the recent trilogy, and this is definately one among my favorites. i like how each and every thing replaced into tied jointly, and set up the unique trilogy superbly. The combat between Obi-wan and Anakin replaced into fairly nicely carried out, and that i've got been given goosebumps whilst Vader's helmet replaced into ultimately positioned on. The action picture does not suck, yet I nonetheless think of the unique trilogy beats the recent. :)

Yeah i agree it was totally stupid. My brothers love it so it's always playing at my house! I mean the only reason Padme died was because Anakin tried to save her from dying in the first place! So in attempt to save her he killed her!!! Twisted around! Lame and a total waste of time and money!!!

Chill out man. It was good the way it was. I'll admit there were so many ways episode three could have led to episode four but it was a very good movie.

Don't asked me, I thought the last one stunk. It used the farce instead of the force.

I am SOOO confused? What are you trying to convey here? I like the older Star Wars best, I'll admit, but you don't insult an artists' work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
