He has set the situation so that you can prevent the medication induced abortion of an embryo within a young woman or the euthanasia of Koko (the sign language gorilla http://www.koko.org/ ).

You have reason to believe that they have both been placed in the situation against their will.

Jessica, it's like a philosophy question to determine fundamental assumptions.

a non-viable embryo or a sentient being? I'm going with Koko, the sentient being. I have reason to believe 32 cells have been place in a situation against their will? They have no will, that's absurd. But, I'm with Jessica.

Additional information is sought!

How young (old) is the young woman? How did she become pregnant (Okay, I understand how, but was it against her will)? Is the fetus causing difficulty for the young woman? How old is the embryo? Are we speaking of a human female (young woman)?

The term, embryo, is used to describe the early stages of fetal growth, from conception to the eighth week of pregnancy. It does not dictate this as only human life, but animals and other species as well.

Koko is kewl but presuming that this is not a trick question of sorts, the young woman is human, etcetera! I would have to side with the young girl.

However, if we are speaking of ... Hmm, how about a chicken? That would greatly influence my decision.

Happy New Year!

If I HAVE to save one... I guess the human would live. And as a sign of gratitude the woman would become the kitchen maid. Allowing a day or two for the delivery to take place.

Koko is gonna die... sad to lose an animal smarter that most left-wingers but it isn't murder like the abortion would be.
