Hospital Admitting Clerk

My mother was an admissions clerk for a local hospital for a time. She just wore nice clothes. Now, this was about 25 or so years ago. So you might want to check with the hospital about any dress code there might be.

Yes I have, a couple of times. I had sinus surgery shortly after I graduated from high school. A couple years after that, the dam burst, so to speak, and I ended up in the psych ward. I pretty much needed to be there. It was pretty bad. I ended up returning a couple times. Anyway, that was a while ago. I'm better now. Although it wasn't funny at the time, I can laugh a little now. Whenever someone asks, "Are you crazy?" I tell them, "I most certainly AM! Or at least I WAS! And I even have the medical records to prove it!"

The best thing would either be scrubs or khakis/dress pants/skirt and a nice shirt/sweater. My mom is a ward clerk at a hospital and that is what she wears.

Depends on the dress code policy of that hospital. If there is no standard policy, just observe what the other clerks are wearing.

Casual clothes. Some hospitals let you wear scrubs but usually casual. Kackis. slacks. probably not jeans.
