they got married on the 29th last week and some of her nieces and nephews are calling me there new cousin but i am confused because i have another uncle and his wife but i dont call her necies and nephws cousins.

yes they are your new cousins but they are Step-Cousins. If your uncle and step-aunt have a child then that child would be a blood-cousin.

I am not aware of SIKHS laws but i know in america you can marry your second or third cousin....but i think X & A are not blood related that is the only concern when saying you can not marry your brother, sister, or first cousin because the risk for genetic defects are greatly increased....hopefully this was helpful.

Your Uncle's new wife's kids probably dont have alot of cousins to play with in their own family so they may be excited about you being their cousin.
They are actually your cousins but only by marriage. Not by blood.
