my wireless G Router D-Link will not connect to my internet?

I was just woundering on how to get it connected so and i might be missing a piece not sure thanks.

I cannot get my password beause my internet connection will not pass the second test

If you follow the instructions that came with your router, D-Link call it the Quick Install Guide, and you know your internet connection settings, like username, password and connection type, it will take a full 5 min to set this up.

basically yo connect your modem to the wall, either DSL or cable connection, then you connect the modem to the WAN port of the router, then connect a computer using an eithernet cable into a ethernet port on the router.

Open a browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar and this will take you to the router setup page. Run the setup wizard and answer all the questions.
