No,because downloading the software itunes let you be able to rip cd's without needing an account.But album art for your song might need an account to get album art but not importing songs

No you can probably use windows media player all you have to do is plug it in go to windows media player click on copy to cd or device then drag the songs to then other side and it copys on to the ipod. I have a MP3 player I dont know if it will work the same as a MP3 player but I hope I helped.

Nope, all u have 2 do is put the CD into your computer/labtop and import.
