My older sister (we are 6 years apart) has a boyfriend that's my age. It's totally awkward and they look ridiculous together. I hate him and everytime I have to see him or he comes over, I want to stab him. She knows I hate him and she barely likes him, but she keeps calling him up when she's lonely. How can I convince her to dump this loser? This has been going on for four years and it is a waste of her time, she's not getting any younger and he won't marry her.

she knows how i feel and we argue about it all the time. i dont like him because he is immature, in a lot of debt, and i think he is using her finanically because she's well-off and he's not. he loves to buy expensive things and i heard her yelling on the phone one time "i'm not going to pay for anything anymore!" he does not treat her well, throws parties with lots of young girls without telling her. overall he's a big jerk. when she's sick, he never comes over, guess who has to take care of her, me!

There's a good reason they call a mafia contract a contract, and that's because it's a LEGAL contract.
Just go down to your local strip joint and ask one of the doorman where the nearest godfather is.
Go and see the guy and explain what you have said here. I'm sure he will gladly arrange to "get rid of" this guy for you, although it might cost you a few hundred dollars. If you can't afford it, you could work it off in the strip joint. Just remember, you're doing it for your sister!

Sounds like she's already convinced that he's a jerk. He wants her to pay for things, he's not around when she's sick, and he's in debt. He's obviously got some serious troubles and is just bringing them in with your sister. Tell her that you don't want to see her with some loser when she has other options. Tell her that he asks her to pay for things too much, and he's living off her kindness. She can't let some guy walk all over her.

Let it go cuz your sister is just going to learn for herself that this is just that waste in her life and if she's that fool hearted to keep him around for the lonely part well you can't live her life for her. Maybe be so darn nice to the guy will make you sis think about getting a guy to make her really be in love.

You have NO say in the matter. It's her life, not yours.
Let her find out her way. She is an adult.
Put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if your sister (or anyone) wanted to do this to you?
Act like an adult and stay out of it.
Besides, there's no legal way.

You have to give your sister good reasons not to see him anymore. There are many things you could do. Think creatively.
