I absolutely hate my job. The pay however is very good. I have been looking for another position, but have not been successful in finding one that will offer near pay I am making now, and due to bills, ect. I know how much I need to make in order to take care of those, and I have yet to find another position that will offer enough for me to make ends meet. So Leaving right now is not an option (however I still continue to look). So my question is, to those that are "stuck" in a job that you hate, what things do you do to make it more tolerable even though the thought of going to work there every day fills you with dread.

Look for projects or responsibilities that will improve your resume. Keep your head low and avoid people you can't stand if at all possible. Aim to send out one resume a week if you can, at minimum. And be very good to yourself outside of work. Bubble baths, exercise, etc. Daily stress really takes its toll on you. I know, because I have seen the stress of my job really wreck my physical health. Yes, I'm always looking too, but I live in a pretty rural area where there are not very many opportunities, and I will not be able to move for 3 1/2 years--long story.
