The more turned on you are the wetter you will be (this makes intercourse easier) The more relaxed you are the better - less tight, it can be hard to fit something as small as a tampon into a tense vagina. To help things artifically you might try a lubricant like ky jelly to make it a smoother ride -the slipperyer the better. (or you could just leave him and find a smaller guy)
