Actually, if the 'hen' you mention in your problem is female, then the answer would be 10.5. An egg and a half every day and a half means one egg a day. A week and a half is 10.5 days. The part about the 'hen and a half' is not considerably relevant to the problem, as the question concerns the amount of eggs, not the amount of hen that laid them.

I would say none, since this hen and a half is a he. However, since the whole thing is nonsense anyway, you could figure it out mathematically to be 10.5 eggs in 10.5 days.

provided it is a hen and therefore a she, that is an egg per day. are you defining a half a week as three days or four? technically is should be 3.5 days, so that would be 10.5 eggs.
