I'm talking about most american soldiers, honestly believing they go to war to protect their country and their loved ones, and most people they end up killing are in no way a threaten to them or their country, , so, is it justifiable?
and if you did, could you live with it? for me it would be hard.....

Where are you getting your facts?

Most US servicemen and servicewomen deployed in the middle east are not in a "front lines" position. They fulfill support services and rebuilding services for the people of Afghanistan and Iraq. And, how do you know that "most people they end up killing" are "in no way" a threat to them? Tell my co-worker that the insurgent who killed his son was "no threat."

More people have been killed by the religious civil war going on in Iraq than by US servicemen.

And how about the 1.3 million of his own countrymen, including whole villages, that Saddam Hussein had put to death? Do you see THAT as justifiable? How threatening were they to him? Ohhhh that's right. They said negative things about him. That explains it.

Let me guess you feel that it is alright for the American soldiers to be killed for trying to help out others and when their lives are in danger they are not to try and defend themselves?
