I watched a reality show, The Beauty and The Geek, on VH-1; there is one guy who is of Indian descent and graduated from MIT. He was matched with a black girl although there were a bunch of white girls in the group. Was it the racial segregation? I need your opinions.

Racial, religious, sexual, monetary, political....you name it. It still exists.The great thing about America is that they are allowed to exist because you can't be executed or land in prison for stating your opinions, no matter how crude or bizarre and you have the right to congregate with whomever you choose and more importantly, aren't forced to congregate with those you'd rather not be around because of their beliefs or actions.

No. Segregation is when society separates people of different colors, religions, or backgrounds. If an Indian guy was put together with a Black girl it's just the producers choice. It's not segregation. Just type in Segregation in a search engine or wikipedia. Segregation has to do with the schools and neighborhoods being purposefully split through the law.

There shouldn't be but I have heard there are places where they still do. These places are very out of touch boonie type places.
On Beauty and the Greek I thought they were chosen by choice or random.
