Airline Employees Say They Saw UFO
Federal Officials Discount Claim as Weather Occurence
AP
CHICAGO (Jan. 1) - Federal officials say it was probably just some weird weather phenomenon, but a group of United Airlines employees swear they saw a mysterious, saucer-shaped craft hovering over O'Hare Airport last fall.

The workers, some of them pilots, said the object didn't have lights and hovered over an airport terminal before shooting up through the clouds, according to a report in Monday's Chicago Tribune.

The Federal Aviation Administration acknowledged that a United supervisor had called the control tower at O'Hare, asking if anyone had spotted a spinning disc-shaped object. But the controllers didn't see anything, and a preliminary check of radar found nothing out of the ordinary, FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said.

There are seriously UFO's. If you are from New York, there are so many stories about alien sightings. Years ago,in my area, in Pine Bush, there was an alien spacecraft spotted in the night sky. There is now a diner that is the theme for this sighting.

My girlfriend and I saw one in Vermont between Bennington and Rutland a couple years back. I can't say what it was, but I know that it's not normal to see something streak across half the sky in a couple seconds (we didn't see it when it was behind the car), change direction by 90 degrees probably 30 degrees of the sky above the mountain range, head straight down toward the mountainrange, and then slow down right before it dropped behind a range of mountains. Light lensing from the atmosphere, I believe, would cause an apparent smooth bend in motion on things like meteors. Even when you consider the change in trajectory from entering the atmosphere (which I don't think happened while I was watching it since it's light didn't change in intensity) wouldn't account for a 90 degree turn. The slowing down can be dismissed as an object like a meteor travelling at an angle rather than straight down towards the horizon that made it *appear* to slow down (which is an actual deceleration since it's changing velocity) because it's travelling away instead of perpendicular to the horizon, however the intensity of light would probably diminish as it moved farther away. Still I can't think of a way to dismiss the 90 degree turn, since natural bodies will turn smoothly, not at a direct angle. Furthermore, I don't believe a satellite with thrusters has the kind of power required to change directions at such an extreme angle like that so quickly. It would sweep an arc.

I can't make a good estimate of exact distance, but I know the object was at least a few miles away when it dropped behind the mountains. Planes just don't do what I saw, and the thing was going much faster than any plane I've seen in the sky -- at least three times as fast as I've seen military jets go. It had a steady light, no flashing lights. Based on the minimum possible distance I think it could have been from us, I considered whether it could be a meteor or satellite. I've seen both many times, and it's flight pattern didn't match either.

As far as the Chicago thing goes: If I had just traveled through light years of space to visit earth (which may not be a huge feat if you were technologically advanced enough), and I were a curious pilot of a flying vehicle, I'd probably be interested in a place like O'Hare where flying vehicles of a developing species were taking off. It only makes sense to be curious in something like what you do most of the time, and I don't think curiousity is a human-only trait. However, it's equally reasonable to think it might be a military vehicle with some explanation on why the heck it'd be over an airport. What's not very plausable, but remotely possible of course, is that almost a dozen seasoned personell would make such a gross mistake as thinking a cloud was a craft of some kind. The lack of a radar echo means nothing because radar doesn't even pick up some military craft. Because there's not enough evidence either way, there's no point in making an opinion on the matter. Enjoy the mystery :-)

I'm not going to tell you there are or are not but if you want some help forming an opinion start with Aurora California look at the news from the late 1800's before the wright brother es ever even flew a plane and see what they saw and what happened..as is documented in the local paper...

I don't believe in the whole spinning disk type thing but it is pretty hard to say that out of this entire universe there is no other intelligent life out there. Earth is hardly a pebble compared to the entire universe and it's potentially inhabited planets. The only evidence I have seen and believe is the recovered NASA tapes of the astronauts talking about, "...we're viewing the aliens now..." from the space shuttle.

I believe it's possible. We know very little about our universe and certainly about space travel. We've gone to the moon yes, but it's been over 35 years since the last trip. All we've done is circle the earth and have sent probes to other planets in the solar system. Who knows what's out there or the technology that we haven't been privy to.

One thing I feel strongly about and that's is that I believe we are not alone in the universe. The is life out there and one day we will make contact. I just know we will.

Is there any truth to UFO's? I believe there is. I have never seen one nor do I know anyone that has but there are other things that have intrigued me.
How is it that in places like Egypt, Mexico and South America all built pyramids? You certainly couldn't get from Mexico to Egypt or vice versa. How is it then that two entirely different cultures both built pyramids to honor their royalty?
No one has ever been able to answer that for me! My theory is that they had help. Help from someone who recognized our beginnings as humans and taught us some things.
Your thoughts?

It amazes me how closed minded the human race is.The grays do exist as do many other races. They have distanced themselves from GOD with their technology and have become self serving.Their race is dying. And will be extinct very soon.No matter what they do or how hard they try to mutate or clone they are all dying.Ever notice in the news that the clones we make don't live for long.?I have learned the hard way.GOD is right here you fools......right here.......

There have been many recorded sightings of UFO's, but I have no idea whether there are any or not...
