If the wax has not soaked into the jean's fibers the ice trick is your best bet.
Otherwise, get plenty of paper towels and set your iron to just warm enough to melt the wax. Place the paper towels over the wax , and apply the iron. The towels will absorb the melting wax. It may take several passes to do a thorough job, so keep changing the towels each time.
What? You don't have an iron? A hair dryer on a high heat setting will work too. As the wax starts to melt apply the paper towel, keep the heat on, and blot.
Oh, one more thing to take care of any remaining residue - WD40 will disolve it. Then wash as you usually do.

Set the iron on a low setting and cover the wax with a single layer of a brown paper bag. Run the iron over the paper bag until the wax comes out. Good luck and be careful!

Get your self some undeniable paper (brown paper bag type papers the final stuff yet you need to use generic white paper in case you have not something). place over wax and iron over the suitable. replace paper as mandatory. Repeat till not extra wax is absorbed into the paper.

Put an ice cube on it, then scratch it off. Ice cubes also work if bubble gum is stuck to your face
