The United States, my friend, produces individuals that can do higher math only if they are interested in it. Thereby creating a population that is diverse and effective!
Asking somehting here like multiplying by 10 is stupid and proves nothing. In many countries, kids are asked to remember multiplication tables, rather than understanding what the multiplication concept truely means. The United States education system denies such methods of teaching.
