i feel ugly because i have dark eyes. everyone says their prettier. are they. 9( i want your true opinion).

I have brown eyes & everyone tells me that they are pretty!
Dark eyes are really deep & look great with smoky make-up.
The only reason I can think of light eyes are prettier with dark hair & skin is that the contrast might make them pop, but I personally prefer dark.
Besides, there's no way your eye color can make you ugly! Unless it was like red or something.. hmm..

I don't think that's all the way true....I think different color eyes stand out more on darker skinned people, that's why they get so much attention. I have the same as you do - tan skin and dark eyes. I've actually heard from a lot of people the dark eyes are really pretty, because they appear mysterious. If it's becoming a problem there's always color contacts :) .

Oh my gosh, it would be a boring world if there was only one standard of beauty. There are all kinds of pretty. Be the best dark eyed beauty you can possibly be. I have green eyes...always wanted dark eyes. I guess we are never satisfied!

no, everyone is pretty in different ways. You can't just categorize beauty down to "dark skin with bright eyes"

its not that dark eyes are uglier, theyre just not as unique. im sure u have other features that make u stand out. i see people with pretty eyes all the time, but thats the only pretty thing about them.

ya i think having brighter eyes makes you stand out as a person more, so thats why i got colored contacts
