There is no need to be offensive mr fraz.s.u.... You seem to have confused the behaviour of persons of your own acquaintance with those of Somerset.
Somerset people have very high Moral standards, and the choice between both barrels of a 410 or marriage has been faced by many a young somerset gentleman following on from a pasionate experience with a young lady. In many ways Muslims and Country folk are the same, except we balme the man for pregnancies and Muslims the woman.
Perhaps the antics suggested by fraz.s.u....actually take palce in Somerset Zimbabwe, or Somerset Minessota. but not in Somerset UK.

Christans and Muslims they do n't like round tables in USA... both try to avoid this round design tables because soon or later the game...go around and around... will show up Main rule of the game is that when you will stop you forget where was the starting point....In USA the Christians like the Sqare tables, but the Muslims hate the Rectagular tables ...The Muslims love the rectangular one tables but are more expenssive than the Square tables and the Christians they do n't want to buy them... for the first meeting, So far is a lot of talk in what Kind of size and design of table both sides will use ...but no solution is found yet. Also a second problem exist...Muslims like to sit on the floor... instead of chairs...We still working on the problem how to introduce the sitting chairs to them...I hope soon or later both problems will be solved, and then the first meeting will be done , whom it will produce more problems than the ones we have now!!!!

It don't work down ere in Somerset like that. You can't two rival carnival clubs to sit at a square table on a skittles night, and they both like the free grub and Cider.
You can't get the different fractions of the Christian Church to sit around the same table, or the different Islamic factions either, Let alone the different Jewish, Bahia, Buddhist, Hindi, Shinto, Pagan faiths. So If they are not going to be tempted to sit around a table with their own kind, how on earth do you plan to temp them to a table filled with food and drink that their faith prohibits them from touching.

You are of course absolutely right in principle but, and it's a big but, although we all breathe the same air and drink the same water, we all hold divine thoughts on what and what is powerful in our lives. That is the key word ... power ... and we have seen it cause mass destruction for generations all over the world. Eventually, over many years, even generations, that power lust abates, mellows or simply becomes attenuated. But when one power door closes, another opens and hence the story goes on. Seriously, you have a great vision of peace in its simplest form but you would have to preach that to the masses and that's where the power struggles are born. But, from little acorns mighty oaks do indeed grow so perhaps your idea could just work .... but you gotta convince the politicians!

it is an exceedingly vast question. Atheism actually potential 'without god' and because maximum human acts of devastation have been interior the call of one god or yet another, this could recommend that they are much less risky than those with a faith. in case you think of roughly it in a extra precis way, atheism promotes unfastened thinking and the choice to have faith what you opt for without the limitation of somebody telling you what's real with none info. in this way, many faiths surely sell lack of expertise over wisdom. (The reasoning at the back of this lays with early society human beings attempting to form a doable society that purposes nicely jointly. faith is an exceedingly sensible thank you to try this, for this reason why there are maximum of similarities between them). So depending on what you recommend by injury, in early human society atheism might have been extra detrimental to the form of the human race yet in modern situations (the final a hundred and fifty years or so) faith is dropping its place in modern-day society.

Most can. Unfortunately there is the foaming-at-the-mouth minority in both religions that will have nothing to do with anyone else.
Your joke about the cider and ham sandwiches was so funny. Oh yes.

Well, aside from pork not being something they can eat, under their strictures, President Carter proved that not only could Christians and Muslims get along, but that the Jews could be brought to the same table, at the same time. Too bad someone had to kill Saddat.

Alcohol and pork are forbidden in Islam and if non-Muslim's accepted this fact without mocking us and egging us to try these forbidden foods we would probably get on. I have a few christian friends and the secret to our friendship is that we respect each others beliefs, even we don't agree on certain elements of our respective faiths.
All i can say is, live and let live and please do not mock any religion, as it can be deeply offensive.

hey i think fraz suss has got a point man . i am surprised that you feel offended by his answer . just as most Muslims would feel offended by your question . if you have any basic knowledge of other religions then you would know that Muslims don't eat pork so when dumb people ask dumb question then they will get dumb answers. by the way i am from taunton i don't live there at the moment . religion is not the problem its ignorant people like you that make issues out of it and create problems.
