Is it a site that anyone can contribute to? There must be some limitations. Is Wikipedia created by user contributions?

Basically, a wiki is an editable website. It doesn't necessarily need to be open to everyone to edit. Some people have a private wiki which only they can edit, or they might choose a small group of people they know and invite them to edit. Wikipedia is a wiki encyclopedia. It was built by user contributions and most pages there are open for everyone to edit.
