My boyfriend doesn't have a college degree; I'm trying to look for a profession for him where he can enter and make a decent living. I understand such professions are corrections officer, police officer, Post Office Worker, Refuse Collector....are there any others? How do I learn about applying to these positions?

Real Estate Agent.
Look online for Real Estate Schools, in the city where you live.
If there is a Real Estate Office near where you live, go there and ask for a recommendation on a real estate school.

If he is prepared to travel to Western Aust then even a labouring job in the mining areas pay emormous ly. Otherwise stick out a trade like plumbing and he will get into salaries well above most careers that start with a degree.

he could always do something with buisness. If someone can help him get a job somewhere he can start gaining experience and work his way up in the buisness world.

Consider sales. There are many fields in sales to consider. I would stick to industrial rather than retail.
