She could stand to lose some weight. For health reasons, not for vanity, especially if you don't think that she's 'fat'
You don't want to hurt her feelings, so try to do activities that you are both involved in that maybe you have been interested in.
It is apparent that she has large breasts, and breasts are not muscle, so probably. But size 16 isn't all that bad, and she is tall, so that helps.
Thank you for having the courage to ask people that.
If you don't think of her as a fat girl that is what matters most.
Love is accepting the other for what they are, and not trying to change them......Modify, another story.
Good luck, and Happy New Year.

Sorry, but yeah, a little. Size 16 is technically considered plus size. And it would make her BMI (Body Mass Index) 32.5, which is categorized as in the range of obesity.
Underweight: <18.5
Normal: 18.5-24.9
Overweight: 25-29.9
Obese: >30
But.... BMI is not bible. Some people are especially muscular (muscle weighs more than fat), which still gives them a higher BMI even though they are more fit than the equivalent person with more fat.
And.... Of course if you care about your girlfriend, you will probably want her to try to lose a little weight so she remains healthy as long as possible. But if you love her, and you love her body, you find her attractive...that's what matters!

dont worry about what any one else says or thinks if you are happy with her just the way she is then she for you is perfect the way she is. i am 5 7 160 when not pregnant and am considered to most over weight. but my hubby loves me just the way i am to me thats all that matters as long as i still look good to him i dont care what the rest of the would thinks and im sure your gf probably feels the same towards you.but if her weight doesnt bother you i wouldnt tell her you posted this here. that would offend her. but it bothers you dont be rude about just ask her to take walks with you a few times a week. trust me she wont read into you think she is big but she probly would enjoy the time spent with you alone talking. if there is a river walk close by you guys could go to walk some sit on the bench and talk she would like that. just tell her your short on cash and dont really have the money to ride around but you thaught it would be nice to still do something with her. that is how i would want my hubby to act instead of secretly being bothered by my wieght. insecurities about weight to a girl is like a mans insecurity to his penis size. usually there is no need to me at edge about it its just our main insecurity

No, she's voluptuous! Depending on her frame size she should weigh between 126 and 167. If she's healthy and active it shouldn't be a problem. Her bra size on the other hand is quite large and hopefully she's not suffering back problems because of her large breasts. It's nice that you "never thought of her as a fat girl". I prefer the term voluptuous or full-figured.

She may be considered overweight but why do you worry? She makes you happy right? If your friends or family is telling you shes fat or something like that tell them you love her regardless, a person can be skinny and attractive but have the ugliest attitude, I'm not saying that skinny people are ugly, but weight should not be an issue unless there are HIGH risk health reasons involved..

What does it matter what others think? As long as she is beautiful on the inside that is what matters. There is the issue of her health, however, and if you love her that should always be a concern no matter her weight. Maybe the both of you could start an exercise program and encourage each other.
