well just for your original six teams from 1917-18 season to present they have 103215 goals. plus you have teams that were in the league from 1917-18 till the 1942 season when the Brooklyn Americans folded, Montreal Maroons folded in 1938 season. then you had teams like the St-Louis Eagles, Philadelphia Quakers that played one season and the Pittsburgh Pirates that played from 1925 to 1930. then in the expansion of 1967 with California Seals that played a few years then moved to Cleveland for a few more, i can figure it out it will just take to much time to do it.

Who knows and who cares? Say I say 1,546,342. It's just a number. It holds no meaning at all. I could say 10,005 and it would also be meaningless. What sort of conclusion do you want to draw from this?
