I may be wrong, but I wouldn't think that a werewolf would know they are a werewolf. When they are in human form, here on Yahoo! Answers even, they would be ignorant of their affliction. Ergo, it would be impossible to talk to a werewolf - in human form, they wouldn't be aware of their condition, in wolf form they would attack you.
That's why they are so secret - no one can confess to being a wolf, because they don't remember their transformation. Furthermore, any interaction with them by CNN (as one poster puts it) would lead the camera crew to believe that they were just dealing with a large renegade wolf - of which there are still plenty in America and Europe.

You can't talk to a werewolf. And if you ever run into one you will know why. I have no idea as to why you feel or what you will gain by talking to a person that just happen to be a werewolf. First off he or she will never remember what they said when that change takes place. And when they return to their idea of normalcy they won't remember what they did when they were a werewolf.. So what knowledge to you expect to gain... Also legend says that if they bite you when in their human form nothing what so ever will happen to you. But if they bite you in their wolf person form they will eat you while you are still alive and if they bite you in the right place you will die and again nothing will happen. Now if they bite you when they are a wolf and then they attack someone else with you and you are lucky enough not to bled to death. Then you may be un-lucky enough to become and werewolf. Than you to will be eventually hunted down and killed. So again I ask what do you expect to gain from talking to one........................... I will be looking forward to your answer...................................

If the werewolfs, didn't want someone to know about them, there'd probably would be a good cause,of some sort. Some sort of mythical mystery, otherwise, they would let us know,or it could be in their personalitys,to want to keep some things secret. Also,if a person had an encounter with a werewolf,it would be the case that of course the werewolf, didn't want it to happen,it just did. Here are some links:

You poor thing.
You hardly know enough to compose a sentence that makes an ounce of sense.
How can you "know" that werewolves are real creatures?
Don't you think we'd have monthly reports of people being attacked by large dog-like animals and receiving horrible bite and claw wounds?
Don't you think CNN and Fox news would be all over such a story?
Why wouldn't scientist be interested in capturing one, testing its blood, and trying to cure it of its wolfishness?
I can't imagine what it must be like being as gullible as you must be...

I'm just wondering, what do you "know" about them? I know they're real, but I also realize that they're basically normal people who have a different belief about themselves.
