Not knowing ALL the details of the project, let me suggest this. Dig up a small 3 inch by 3 inch square of sod from your back yard and put in on a wet paper plate. Cover it with wax paper, carry it to school, uncover it and present it as your project. You better be real good at English composition to make up a story to EXPLAIN your project. If you have trimmed the sod neatly you could claim that it was a "landscape project".

I work in a plant store and many places have small plants this time of year and most of the stores are getting seeds in at this time or already have them put out. Buy a pack of seeds and find the same plant that has already grown a little and throw it in some dirt. If that doesn't work try asking a relative, friend, or family member, good luck!

It depends on the project you need. But if it's one involving growing a plant from seed, you're out of luck.

well not if you need them to grow! Then buy an already live plant and say you grew it from seed. Take the labels off it!
