Well I don't have any problem allowing my 11 year old daughter to wear nail polish but if your parents do then you need to respect that and understand that they are your parents and, although you may not like some things they tell you to do or not do, you really have no choice right now.
And really, is not being able to wear nail polish that big of a deal? It's not a big deal at all and there are some kids a lot worse off.
Don't wear the polish and show your parents you trust their choices and maybe in the future when you ask to do something better, they will say okay.

Sorry there little girl, as long as you live at home and under your parents roof you must do as they say. When you are old enough to move out and pay your own way then you can wear nail polish anywhere you wish.

There are reasons your parents say this and it most likely stems from long ago when little girls wearing nail polish looked and acted cheap. They just don't want to see their daughter looking cheap because the care for and love you.

I had to do many things as a child I didn't want to do because I lived at home and obeyed my parents. Even today if I go to my parents home I still must obey their rules out of respect for them.

I'm sorry maybe you should try talking to your parents and tell them why you think you should be allowed to wear nail polish and show them there are light colors that can be a nice alternative.

Go for a french manicure or a light light pink tp start off with. Than explain how you need to coordinate your polish with your outfits after that.

I think this depends on your age, but why don't you start off small. Ask to wear a polish that is either a neutral nude color or clear and see how they react to that.

you should be more specific with your question..how old are you? what are your parents like? why do they have a problem with you wearing nailpolish??

just start off with neutral colors, light pinks, etc. maybe they just don't want to see you with dark colors on your nails
