If you do some searching, you will find that most people that have major mental issues without other underlying health issues, are in fact very intelligent people. It's not uncommon to find that alot of brilliant people are mentally unbalanced or suffer from some sort of mental disorder.

Yes & no. Doctors determine if a patient is clinically insane,while civilians who beleive in doctors accept their words.

insanity is a legal term period.
a person can be mentally ill and be very inteillgent that part is for sure.

Yes they can be deceiving. There are many psychopaths that kill people but are clever enough to cover their tracks. I think that after all they are not so stupid as they want us to believe.
