Currently the most demanding and coolest mobile handsets are from manufacturers like Nokia, Sony Errcison & Samsung. If you are looking to get a new handset then I will recommend that you get them from one of these manufacturers shown above because there is more appeal and sales of these manufacturers across the globe.
Recommended Mobile Handsets for you:
NOKIA: 6280, 6280r, 6233, N73, N80, N90, N93, 6230i
SONY ERCISSON: any mobile from this manufacturer is a good choice.
SAMSUNG: i would say that the best mobile phone this manufacturer has produced has to be the D600 because the sales are very high for this mobile everywhere. other Samsung Mobile phones which strongly reccomend are D900, D830, X830, i320, X820 or D800.
I also think you will like the LG chocolate phone range.

There is no such thing as the best cell phone. Something that works awesome for me might suck for you. It depends on what you need it for. It's all personal preference. It also depends on your carrier. Some phones work better on certain networks than others. If you already have service, and are just trying to decide between a coulple phones, go to www.phonescoop.com. Here you'll be able to compare phones side by side and also get user ratings.

I personally think my Treo 650 is fantastic. Its a PDA, a cellphone, a media player, I can watch tv shows on the bus, and get phone calls while im tubing. It has a full keyboard like a blackberry for text messaging and composing emails. It has a camcorder functionality, and takes still photos. I think what set it apart is all the toys you can buy for it such as GPS, and the like. They start at 600-700 retail, but you can get 3 year plans for 399 or less now. These things are targeted for the business elite.

depends on the provider ultimately...for example sanyo is the best brand for sprint as is motorola for nextel (yes i know its the same company yet, the still run seperate) and really talk 2 the reps. about them and tell them u want the best phone 4 ur money and service wise otherwise they'll just try and do the "free phone wit a plan" deal which usually end up being the worst in reliability so do ur homework b4 u put out the dough they all have websites

I've an LG U400, it looks cool, is fast at surfing the web, it's not to big and it holds 2gb of music or videos....

I like it and it seems pretty robust, I've let it fall a few times and have also spilt drink on it and it's still flying along.....

I'm with three and I'd say if your not with them you wouldn't be able to use half the features....

You can also scratch music with it.....

If you want a cool looking usable phone id recommend it...
