Nick Cruz, was the leader of a New York Street Gang and was converted to Christianity by the Rev David Wilkerson the founder of the Time Square Chruch. Cruz later became a minister himself, The story of the two men was told in the book The Cross and the Switchblade. It was later made into a moive and starred Pat Boone as Wilkerson and a very young pre-Chips Eric Estrada as Cruz. Wilkerson and Cruz continue thier minstry today

Saw him once on stage at a Christian rock concert at Red Rocks in Colorado.

He is a very dynamic speaker.
