I fell in love with this one person and she means alot to me but shes ashamed of who she is..but im willing to give up alot for her bc shes done that for me..

Ted you cant get over a true love its there burnt into your heart over time the wound will heal but the scar will always remind you of love be it good or sad but with luck in years to come you will hear or see something and a feather will brush your heart as you remember her as the first strong love to scar your soul , you will smile as her face is picture in your mind and the memories flood ever sense you have , DON'T GET OVER IT JUST BASK IN THE MEMORIES OF A BETTER TIME SPENT TOGETHER.

I dont think its possible to get over your one true love. There the ones that shared everything with you. You need to have a talk with her and tell her that she shouldnt be ashamed of herself because you love her anyway no matter how she is and that you would give the world to her and that she will forever have a spot in your life that only she can fill.
It sounds to me trhats how you feel about her.

If it was true love, you can not get over it. You just have to learn to live with it, kind of like you learn to live with a cast after you break a bone. The difference is that even though you will heal from a broken bone, and a broken heart, you will always feel that break in your heart.

No one can decide this, except for you. If you love her and will give up a lot for her, then why do you want to get over her? Maybe she isn't ready to accept herself, give or time or take a break. Things work out in the end.

First off, quit referring to it as "true love". If it didn't work out, it isn't true love. And if it was, you wouldnt want to/have to get over it. Second, try dating a guy.

at first its hard to get over it but the saying "time heals everything" is true because u start getting used to not having her around and soon u forget about her
