My 8 year old daughter has a Nintendo DS Lite and she loves to play the New Mario Brothers game. Does any one have any good tips for the game?

Find and collect as many small coins as possible. Every 100 collected gives an extra life. Collect as many large coins as possible as they will allow access to extra bonuses like a larger number of lives, turtle back which is handy for hiding under when enemy is around. My four year old son also knows how to throw fire balls but I haven't figured that one yet and he won't let on. We have only got up to World 2.3 so far but each time I save it he deletes it so we have to start it over again.
