I just completed the Dragon Mountain or whatever thing and got to the nest where you have to run away from the dragon and jump out of the nest. Now, I'm back on the map, but I can't figure put how to shrink myself so I can enter the gnomish village. Nobody in my party has enough level two magic points to cast mini, so I can't use the spell. All my characters are freelancers, if that helps.

You'll need to have two of your party members become red mages. They can still keep most of the freelancer equitment and have them raise their levels. And have mini attached as a learned magic and after a few battles you should gain a point to cast it. Go to magic and choose mini and highlight all party members and you'll be able to cast mini on the entire party.
