Not at all. The national title is decided in the BCS Bowl, not the Fiesta Bowl. Therefore, why should Boise State be co champs?? Ridiculous thought.

Chow!!

No!

I was impressed with Boise State lastnight. Oklahoma really did beat Oregon earlier in the year. Oregon was in the PAC-10, and the best out of the PAC-10 is on any given week up for debate. One week, Oregon, one week, Cal, one week USC, another UCLA. So lets rule out any PAC-10 team. Even though USC won against the choke experts Michigan yesterday. They lost twice during the year. So back to Oklahoma. How good are they, since Boise "barely" beat them? Their main loss (if you don't count the Oregon rob by officials) was to a pretty crappy Texas team. Texas barely beat a bottom dwelling Big Ten Iowa team in their bowl game. Oklahoma was ranked 7th, which after all the bowl games seems way to high. Big 12 was not impressive this year or any bowl game. So, Boise barely squeaks past them, I don't think they are #1 because of a squeak game against a pretty weak team when everything washes out. Boise won strictly on turnovers and trick plays. Okay, maybe some great coaching as well. But now that teams have seen it, do you think they could pull it off against multple quality teams in a year? When you play a cupcake schedule and win during the year, you need to show more to completely jump over other teams that played multiple tough teams (without gadget plays).

Boise State just played the best college football game I can remember ever having seen, but until they beat some teams like Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, anything like that, I don't think so. Not yet, anyway. But let's see what happens next year!

NO God Dang Way, OK is the only real team Boise beat this year. Florida beat LSU, UGA, USC, Tennesse, Arkansas and a few others too. The best team Boise beat before playing OK was Hawaii. Put Boise in a major conference and then maybe they can claim they deserve a National Title.

If they remain as the only undefeated team after Monday, then yeah. If not, they should at least share it with OSU. Schedule, schmedule. All this "they didn't play anyone", "who'd they beat?", "they're from a mid major conference" BS is played out. As we've seen time and time again, (Oklahoma can be the latest example) none of that matters. That's why the game is played.

Nope. Boise State only won because Paul Thompson had a bad game. Besides, Boise State was never ranked high enough to deserve a national title.

Absolutely!

In fact, unless Ohio State wins, or Florida absolutely KILLS Ohio State, Boise State should have the title all to themselves.

UNDEFEATED and they played the BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME EVER. (And if anyone can think of a counter-example, PLEASE let me know because I would really want to see it!)

I retract my earlier statement and say that Boise State does deserve a shot because of they way they stepped up against Oklahoma.

let me remind you Boise State beat Oregon St. 42-14 and Oregon St. beat USC and USC trounced Michigan, so ya there really needs to be a playoff system but yes i think they should have a share of it.

I know this will not happen but I think there should be a playoff for the National Championship title.
