sounds like bacterial vaginosis...the smell is horrible..u need a cream and an antibiotic ..It's hard to tell the difference in the 2.u may have a mixture of both at the same time..I did and it was terrible.. BV can cause severe swelling (the DOC couldn't even get the speculum in) and it can move to your ovaries, etc and cause damage. See a ob/gyn asap.

There are a few different things it could be - STD, yeast or bacterial infection of some kind.

As you seem to be aware, the symptoms for yeast are a discharge, which can be clumpy, and if you are getting a significant amount of discharge, as you mention, then often there would be a yeasty odour.

Because symptoms can be easily confused and not all symptoms may be present in either an STD, BV or yeast infection, it is actually worth going back to the doctor and asking them to take a culture of the discharge. This can let you know conclusively what the problem is. Otherwise, it is all just guess work.

The other thing to remember is that just because the problem came back, doesn't mean that you haven't already used the right solution for it. You could have a yeast infection or BV, taken the medicine, and cleared it up temporarily, but because you are still doing the things that caused the problem in the first place, it just came back.

Did both the treatments work for a while? Did one work faster or more completely than the other? That could indicate which problem you have.

Basically you need a proper culture taken of it and then when you know the right problem you may have to make some life style changes. Especially if it is a yeast infection - you may have to look at some of these factors that can contribute to your likelihood of developing a yeast infection
the pill
poor diet
diabetes
clothes that don't breath (too tight, synthetic) etc.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMD6n

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

An old doctor once told me that the main cause for women with a infection "down there" is because the wipe the wrong way after #2. Also to consider, you may want to start wearing only panties that are 100% cotton. One final thing to consider. Have you been sexually active recently? This may be a concern if you haven't been practicing safe sex. If this is the case, then you may want to go see a doctor, and have him check you for a STD/STI. If this is true, even your partner may have an STD/STI and not realize it. Please consider all of this above. Best of luck to you.

If your Dr. cant finger out what's wrong with your cooter , maybe you should find another Dr. Load a turkey baster up with plain yogurt & squeeze it up in there. As far as the smell goes, hang a scratch & sniff air freshener on your @(!^ ring
