I have!! I love that movie! I've seen the movie, but I love the story line. I really want to see it on stage. I love the music in it. And the actors and actresses that is in it. I favorite song is "Past the Point of No Return" and "The Phantom of the Opera". I also like "All I Ask of You" and "Music of the Night". To tell you the truth I love all the songs and the Phantom in the movie is really HOT!! Everybody just got to love the movie. Its also so sad. I really wish I could meet the Phantom in person. Won't that be fun.

I and many, many, MANY other people have at least heard of the show/book/movie The Phantom of the Opera. (Originally, it was the French novel "Le Fantôme de l'opéra" by Gaston Leroux, published 1910.) I'd argue it's a household name in America, probably Great Britain, and likely other places where English musicals are performed or French literature is read.

Duh! It's a classic! The 2004 movie is also one of my favorite movies.
Not only that, it is based on a true story/true events.
