It's a sport so it can help keep you in shape (some exercise) ; teach teammwork ; dependability (showing up to practice and all games, being there for teammates) ; loyalty ; commitment ; may even transfer over to baseball and might can get a pro contract

In softball, you can meet a lot of new people and learn a great sport that's not that hard to learn. Also, you can travel a lot of really cool places and if you're part of a showcase team, you could get a scholarship, if you play on like a u18 team that is.

If you enjoy softball..Otherwise I would choose an activity that best suites you.

But yes...if its enjoyable or through exercise and making friends.

Its a sport, it doesn't benefit you, but it gives a chance for you to benefit yourself... im not sure if what im saying is even making any sence lol.
