I'm trying to visit London for a month. My housing budget is about 1200 pounds. Looking for fun night life and culture. Want to be in an area with other young adults (18-25).

stick to south or east london. These are the relatively most affordable areas and as a result have young people there, but its all still expensive!!

hardly any apartments have one month leases. You're better off in a hotel or hostel.

Try getting hold of some local papers for short term flat shares in the area you want to be in.

Alternatively you can stay at mine for £1000!

Rent is about £400 a month

See if you can get some shared digs in and around the Earls Court area where a lot of Australians and Kiwis go.

To get you started while you find digs, you can stay in a cheap hotel in the area for around £55 per night if you pre-pay (see link)
