Audition for EVERYTHING you can find! TRy to get on ANY possible TV shows (i.e American Idol), and even if you aren't the best singer on, say, American Idol, you can sure catch someone's eye as a terrific actor! (but beware, cuz there are many people trying that on American Idol)
Also, try to have CONNECTIONS. Meet all the people you can, and always make a good impression.
Always try your best, and don't give up!

p.s: make sure you take actual acting classes every oppurtunity you get. Even if they are not the best quality, and even if your plays aren't the most popular, hey at least you are getting experience, and you never know who could be watching!

Acting, is not always associated with fame! Many working actors are not famous.

Go to college with a career in acting or something. just keep getting better, be in lots of plays, and maybe someone with notice and recommend you.
