The Christian foundation in a home is necessary for two to become parents. If you force a person to adopt a religion, they will poke fun of the Christian and life will be hard on the Christian unless there is a understanding that the Christian will practice their belief without criticism. This is an issue that should be solved before marriage...One religion, no confusion for the kids.

A Christian man should hold the standards that he holds himself to. Why would you want to make children in a non-committed relationship? A person who isn't a Christian (yet) will not understand marriage and its significance. A two-parent family is essential in bringing up healthy children. Pick your spouse that holds the same value system as you do.

Christian or not, when children are involved I believe there should be a formal contract between the adults - called a marriage license. I feel that the children feel more secure knowing their parents love each other enough to bind the relationship.

I personally think that marriage is important. I believe that there is a stronger bond and a lot more commitment when you get married. Having said all that though, l believe that children grow up just as happy in a home where two people love each other fully, married or not. Just because you get married l don't believe it makes you more loving and caring parents. Perhaps more responsible but certainly not better. As long as there is love and commitment that's all that really matters.Happy New Year

children grow up fine and happy either married or just living together parents.
but if both parents are always fighting or arguing the children think its their fault even though its not.
children just want to be happy.
if the man does want marriage then let him find another lady that wants the same as he does.
and if a lady wants kids and dont want marriage she cant change the man to not want marriage.
the lady needs to find a man that wants the same life style as her. otherwise they will always fight and argue. and life is too short for that and too short to live without being happy. let each other move on with someone else.

First of all the Christian should not consider a non-Christian as a love interest, because the Bible warns us to not become unequally yoked. Second, the Bible also says sex outside of marriage is fornication. Marriage is a commitment. Is it not important to teach such things to children?

i think marriage should be the way it is said in the bible. maybe people would not just jump into it. people date 3 months and then say they want to spend the rest of their life with you
