here's something that's mathematically impossible. Take some clay and role it out into a long rectangle. Take the ends of the rectangle and join them to each other...except rotate one of the ends in either direction. You now have a shape that is mathematically impossible because it's 3-d...and yet it only has one side. Follow one side...you will come to the same spot and yet cover all areas of the shape you made. Interesting?
