So, by your logic a person who makes bombs for the government doesn't pay taxes either. I believe 1 in 4 people in the USA works in some form for the government. As Ruth pointed out, once public money is given to an individual for services, it becomes private money again. After all, money starts out as private money in the first place.

Every teacher does not work for the government. A lot of teachers work for private organizations therefore they are not paid with tax dollars, but through private funds. Even at state institutions like colleges, while federal grants supplement some of the funding required to cover the salaries, private grants, tuition, and other funds go to into the overall pot if you will. Also some of the federal, state or local funding is allocated to specific costs and salaries are not always part of that allocation. Some times funds can only be spent on specific cost types. If she is not at a public institution, then she is not receiving any tax money.

A moronic placed up, even for you. Paul Ryan and "others" are actually not desirous to eliminate something the government has compelled you to pay. however the easy certainty is, ninety% of the human beings get plenty extra out of Social risk-free practices and Medicare in reward than they ever paid into the gadget. noticeably so because of the fact the politicians, sure, which comprise George Bush, spent the money virtually as quickly because it got here in and so it particularly wasn't "appreciating" as a common investment might. What they do want to do is initiate shifting youthful human beings off those courses and cut back some large reward of those retiring to be extra in-line with what they actually paid in. this kind of replace does no longer oftentimes be completed by surprise or perhaps interior the close to term, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to might desire to be completed at a while, to circumvent a Greek style debt disaster, that would desire to then tension prompt austerity measures.

Everybody that makes money has to pay taxes. Plain and simple. Do the people at Lockheed have to pay taxes? They make money from government contracts. The money you pay to the IRS is a federal tax. I work for the state, but we don't have a state tax in Texas.

I guess it's just to cut the pay just a little so they can be counted in for paying taxes. Anyways, a teacher can have more than one job.
Heck, even the president pays taxes.

So, you don't want to educate the children; very classy, and, the first salvo of the year against teachers, very admirable. I suppose you think a baseball player is worth more than someone who is preparing children to succeed in life.
