i am getting an xbox360 wich one is better the 299.99 or 399.99

There's a general rule of thumb in making purchases:
"You get what you pay for"
which means that if it costs more, you will be getting more.
Of course, not everyone NEEDS the extras that raise the price -- so research both models and ask if you will be using all the features of the pricer device.

The core system is better if you just want the 360, but if you want the system with the hard drive and other accessories you should go with the $399.99 option because it is the better deal of the two.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT buy the 299 version..becuz you will spend WAY MORE than that trying to get everything you will eventually need...GO for the $400 one anyday.you get a 20gb hard drive which is a $100 itself plus at 12 month xbox live subscription instead of 3 months..wireless controller...and headset..go with the better deal..Hope this helps.

they are the same system, essentially. the 399.00 one comes with more stuff.
