Science or Social Science?
If science:
You may need a wide-range thermometer. If glass, be careful, they will break!
1. measure the freezing and boiling points of a pure liquid (water, denatured alcohol, etc.)
2. measure the freezing and boiling points the same liquid with different amounts of another (either liquid or soluable solid like salt.) This should be done numerous times with different concentrations of the second liquid/solid.
3. Use the scientific method.
4. Write the report ... in the third person.
She needs to do this ... not the parent.

1- you can do the teabag experiment, see the 2 minute video, it shows the steps.
2- The volcano eruption-all u need is an old plastic bottle, some paper mache or pva glue, baking soda and vinegar
3-Boil water and add to it a crushed ping-pong ball, and after a while it will be brand new1
4- Get a crushable plastic bottle, fill it with boiling water, then quickly empty the water from it, then close the lid tightly fast, now there is smoke inside the bottle, all you have to do is watch it crush!
5-Get a bottle of pepsi, drop mentos candy into it and watch it erupt

"Does salt have an impact on the boiling point of water."
You'll need:
water
salt
a pot
a stove
a thermometer (if you want)
Boil the water without salt, time how long it takes. Let the pot cool back down, refill with water and add salt. Boil again and see how long it takes.
Simple. Hope that helps.
