1. Cast Away.........obvious first choice! Plenty of good tips here for surviving. Not too metion Tom Hanks does a pretty good job in this one.
2. Varsity Blues. Great football movie for the younger fan.
3. X-Men 2. Probably the best one out of the 3. Great action.
4. You've Got Mail. Going to need a romantic movie to get you through those lonely days.
5. Jet Li's Fearless. Definitely some awesome action in this movie. Not to mention the messages delivered.
6. Wizard of Oz. I guess when you're stranded, there can be no place like home!
7. Over the Hedge. One of the best animated movies in recent history in my opinion.
8. Freddy vs. Jason. Definitely going to need a scary movie to keep me awake to signal my rescuers. The top 2 horror movie villains will keep anyone up.
9. Any Given Sunday. Another football movie, yeah. But this one takes a realistic shot at pro football.
10. Top Gun. The best Tom Cruise movie ever.

Wow--this is really hard to do! There are a lot of good movies in the world, but when you have to limit it to 10, that's tough. So I went with what I like, even if they aren't always the "best" movies:
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Shakespeare in Love
The Princess Bride
Pride and Prejudice
Sense and Sensibility
The House of Flying Daggers
Sunday in the Park with George
Prisoner of Azkaban
