It was ok until about midnight, when some fireworks woke me up.

Unfortunately, it was my worst NYE in years. My s.o. didn't take the initiative to plan anything, since I'm usually the one who plans things. I wanted to see if he'd take the init, but he didn't, so I allowed my work to schedule me to work on the 31st. However, that became another disappointment, because I and my co-workers on the closing shift were supposed to close the store at 5pm and be out by 5:30, but at the last minute, the powers-that-be called and told us we have to stay open until 7pm! So we didn't end up leaving until 7:30 -- 2 hours later than any of us had planned. Apparently it didn't matter to the higher-ups that some of us have lives outside of work.
Since I wasn't going out for NYE, I'd made plans to prepare and eat dinner with my folks, but that got messed up due to me being 2 hours late from being stuck at work. So the family dinner was ruined too. After that, I'd thought of going to a little party with a few friends and/or neighbors, but by the time I was done eating (late) at home, I was so tired and aggro that I didn't even go out again. Oh, and plus my mom and I got into a big argument over nothing, which sucked too. So, all in all, I found myself ringing in 2007 by saying "Crappy New Year" instead of "Happy New Year". *sigh* But I guess that means there's nowhere to go but UP! :) After all, with such a bad start, things can only get better! (I try to always be an optimist).

It was great i spent time with my parents. We had poppers and everything. I saw fireworks and just watched tv. 2006 was a great year for me now its going to be a good start for a new year. Happy new year

it was good i spent it at a friends house with my kids and husband so it was good my 17 yr old daughter and her b/f even spent it with us instead of going out

ok was with my baby girl and our pets nice and quiet with my special family she loved it till the fireworks started she is frightened of loud noises
