You could do Google Satellite. A lot of local--and I do mean local--landmarks in Chicago are named on the image, including neighborhood strip malls.

Zillow.com gives you aerial view, estimated value, and a bunch more. Pretty cool site. You can Zillow your buddies houses as well to feel good that yours is worth more than theirs.

try opening your own website and put loads of pics of your house on that and walla instant pictures of your house online whenever you look

I was just trying to do that. Try to go to www.crye-lieke.com on the home page. where IT says "or address or MSL number" type in your address. they must have some records.

http://local.live.com/ is good for birds eye views if you live in an urban area. also try using google earth that is an cool program you download for free
