i have it done, i got my left side cause the other side of my was not as suitable to pierce and i usually sleep on the other side. Be warned mine has been done for 9 months now and still sometimes hurt, i would reccomend those rings with a ball on the end in a metal you know you don't react to. I have to say sleeping on it will hurt for a while and keep you hair tied back off it. But honestly they are so cool and people compliment you, it reflects other piercings on your ears and i think they 'finish' the ear and have no regrets so go for it! :)

What side do you sleep on? If you sleep on the right side of your face, getting the right ear pierced and laying on it a lot can mess with the healing process and make it take longer than it needs to. Same with the left. That was the way that I decided. Good luck.

Well I don't know if you'd like this idea, but i have my ears single pierced, double pierced and on my left ear i have a third piercing and on my right i have my cartilage pierced at the top. Good luck!

I got the top of my left ear peirced and I like it, but it sucks sometimes when I sleep on it because it is sore the rest of the day. I would suggest your nose.

i just got both of mine peirced.
if you cant choose then get both.thats what i said.
oh and also word of advice.keep your hair up for the first few weeks.it burns like heck when your pulling your hair back it gets stuck in your earring.
and most of the time when i see ppl with just one cartilage pirced its the left one.
it really doesnt matter.as long as your happy.

i have alot of piercings so i should know lol your left Side is usually your more visible side, either that or the opposite side of which you part your hair. good luck:)
