Yes, currently we have a Chihuahua named Stanly. He will be two years old in February.

Over the years we have had (in chronological order): beagles, mixed-breed dogs, goldfish, assorted walking sticks, preying mantises, and lightning bugs, dime store turtles, Venus fly traps (yes, I know they're plants, but we always counted them as pets because you had to feed them if they didn't catch flies), pigeons, rabbits, more goldfish, miniature schnauzers, goats, anoles, guppies, ferrets, a German shepherd dog, tropical aquariums full of assorted fish, a GSD/Lab mix, a frog, even more goldfish, lots of mice, more anoles, and most recently, of course, Stanly.

(I may have missed one or two pets, as this is over the last 50 years.)

Yes. But I do rescue/foster, so most aren't permanent (if I kept them for myself I couldn't help out others, after all).

I do have 2 permanent rats as my pets, and numerous saltwater fish...and I'm looking to adopt a cat as my pet (and not a foster).

Yep would not live without them!

2 Horses, 4 Dogs, a parrot and 2 parakeets

Pets are nice to have around....We realize we could be in a better home, have more "stuff" and would be easier to clean this place if we did not have any, but they are part of the family.

I have a dog. I didn't raise him but I got him from his previous owners that could not spend alot of time with him. I found that he has some bad habits that we have had to learn to deal with. If I ever get another dog I will get him as a puppy so I can train him.
